Myong-lok Oh pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization.

Oh was 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA for the South Korean national team in the 1984 Amateur World Series, striking out 19 and walking 10 in 20 1/3 IP; only Hak-kil Yoon had a higher ERA for South Korea. He remained with South Korea in the 1984 Olympics and 1985 Intercontinental Cup. In 1986, he made his pro debut with the Lotte Giants, going 4-4 with a 3.91 ERA. The next year, he improved to 5-3, 2.93. He was 6-7 with a save and a 3.70 ERA in 1988. Moving to the Samsung Lions, he was 2-3 with two saves and a 4.05 ERA in 1989. He fell to 0-4, 6.30 with a save in 1990. Overall, he was 17-21 with four saves and a 3.79 ERA in 81 KBO games.
