Biographical Information[edit]
Morimichi Shiose signed with the Tokyu Flyers in 1950, and he debut on May 11. He relieved Fumiya Tsuta in the 5th inning, and he allowed 2 runs in 1 1/3 innings. In his only at-bat, Shiose crushed a 2-run home run against Koji Himeno. Shiose didn't return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement. He was the only Japanese player who hit a homer in the only at-bat of his career, and only Don Schulze also did it in NPB, in 1991.
