Biographical Information

Mitsuhiro Takeno was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 7th round of the 1965 NPB draft, and he hit .210/.234/.242 in 94 games in 1966. He was 8-for-33 in 57 games in 1967, and he only got 3 at-bats combined in the next two seasons. Takeno played 72 games (71 PA) with a .234/.286/.281 batting line in 1970, and he was 10-for-36 in 1971 then he announced his retirement.
