Biographical Information

Minoru Hasebe signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1950, and he only got 3 at-bats combined in his first four seasons. He played 41 games with a .186/.273/.220 batting line as the backup catcher behind Masato Monzen in 1954, but he only played 15 more games before he announced his retirement in 1956.
