Biographical information[edit]
Reliever Miguel Sanfler pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers system from 2005 to 2010, peaking at High A. He went 5-3 with a 3.79 ERA in 13 games (3 starts) with the GCL Dodgers in his initial campaign, though perhaps his best year was 2008, when he went 2-4 with a 3.95 ERA in 38 relief appearances for the Great Lakes Loons. In 2007, he led the Midwest League in walks surrendered with 63, one ahead of runner-up, Travis Webb. He became a free agent following the 2010 campaign, but continued his career by appearing in the Dominican Winter League for a couple seasons.
In the Dodgers system, he went 14-19 with a 4.83 ERA in 208 games (6 starts). In 383 2/3 innings, he allowed 385 hits and 242 walks (1.634 WHIP), while striking out 327 batters.
