Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Miguel Perez was signed by Cincinnati Reds scout Jorge Oquendo in 2000. He played for Cagua (VSL) in 2001 and 2002, before coming stateside with the GCL Reds in 2002.
Perez became a coach with the West Virginia Power in 2014 and Indianapolis Indians in 2016-2017. In 2018, he was appointed to his first managerial job with the Bristol Pirates. Perez was scheduled to be manager for the Bradenton Marauders in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
