Biographical Information

Miguel Montano has been on the Costa Rican national team.

He allowed two runs (one earned) in eight innings in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier, beating Guatemala's Oscar Garcia. He was 3rd in the event in opponent average (.071, behind Ronald Medrano and Kevin Gadea) and tied Juan Girón Balladarez and Alejandro Amézquita for second in IP. In the 2025 Central American Games, he beat El Salvador; Costa Rica won Silver, matching their best finish to that point.
