Biographical Information

Michio Nabeya was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 5th round of the 1982 NPB draft, and he only pitched 6 games for the big club (with a 4.91 ERA) before the Carp traded him with Mitsunori Takiguchi to the Nippon Ham Fighters for Nobuhiro Takashiro in 1988. Nabeya didn't return to the top team in 1989, and he announced his retirement.
