Biographical Information

Michio Miura was drafted by the Taiyo Whales in the 5th round of the 1973 NPB draft, and he spent his first two seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues. He was 1-2 with a 3.2 4 ERA in 1976, and he slumped to 1-4 with a 7.68 ERA in 1977. Miura only pitched 2 more games before he announced his retirement in 1980.

Overall, Miura went 2-6 with a 5.81 ERA, struck out 43 and pitched 62 innings in 3 seasons in NPB.
