Biographical Information[edit]
Max Diaz has been a minor league manager.
Diaz was listed in the 2011 Cleveland Indians Media Guide as having been drafted in the 1980 amateur draft out of New Mexico State University by the Philadelphia Phillies. However, no Max Diaz has ever been drafted out of New Mexico State or by the Phillies. Also, given the birthdate in the 2011 Media Guide, Diaz would have been 15 years old in 1980, hardly the age of someone coming out of college. He managed the 1999-2000 DSL Tigers and then guided the 2011 DSL Indians.
