Matjaz Dolinar
Matjaz Dolinar was on the Slovenian national team in the 1995 European Championship, their first European Championship. Replacing Brane Galic at second base in their opener, he was retired by Emiliano Ginanneschi of Italy his first time up. As the event progressed, he took over the starting spot at 2B, getting his first hit off Russia's Rinat Makhmutov. He finished 5-for-12 with a hit-by-pitch, fielding .917. Only Jani Malovic had more hits for Slovenia and he tied Rok Lesjak for their most runs.
