Biographical Information

Masayuki Kasahara played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 3 years.

Kasahara signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1953, and he had a 3.18 ERA in 8 games in his first season. He went 9-4 with a 3.60 ERA in 1954, but he stayed in the minors for the entire 1955 season. Kasahara then went to the Daiei Stars, and he went 1-8 with a 3.71 ERA in 1956 then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Kasahara was 11-12 with a 3.60 ERA, struck out 54 and pitched 194 1/3 innings in 3 seasons in NPB.
