Biographical Information

Masato Fukae was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 5th round of the 2010 NPB draft, and he was 4-for-12 in 29 games in 2011. He only played 8 games in 2012, and he hit .200/.265/.244 in 44 games in 2013. Fukae stayed in the minors for the entire 2014 season, and he was released. He then went 5-for-34 in 2015, and he hit .288/.419/.356 with the Melbourne Aces in the 2015-2016 ABL. Fukae played 27 games with a batting line for the Gary SouthShore RailCats in 2016, and he wound down his career with the Kochi Fighting Dogs.
