Biographical Information[edit]
Masao Nakano played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 3 years.
Nakano signed with the Nankai club in 1938, and he hit .201/.263/.229 in 40 games in his first season. He then enlisted to the military and missed the next three years. Nakano returned in 1942, but he struggled again as his batting line was .174/.243/.200 in 95 games. He batted .180/.244/.212 in 1943, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Nakano hit .182/.247/.211 with 138 hits in 3 seasons in NPB.
