Biographical Information

Masao Kondo signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1950, and he hit .276/.376/.345 in 102 plate appearances over 60 games; he was their 4th outfielder that year. Without playing another game in Japan's top leagues, he announced his retirement. He then coached Aoyama Gakuin University from 1960 to 1987.
