Biographical Information

Masamitsu Suzuki was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the first round of the high school phase in the 2005 NPB draft after they lost the lottery for the rights to Hiroshi Katayama. He didn't get many chances with the big club, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first seven seasons. Suzuki went 1-for-3 with the big club in 2012, and he was 1-for-8 in 2013. He then spent his next two seasons in the minors, and he announced his retirement in 2015.
