Biographical Information

Masami Uno was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 5th round of the 1996 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues before the Giants released him in 1998. He then signed with the Hiroshima Carp, but he still didn't reach the big club and he was released again. After pitching in the industrial league for several years, Uno joined the Yakult Swallows in 2005. He pitched 5 innings that season, but he didn't return to the big club again before announced his retirement in 2007.
