Biographical Information

Masami Sekiguchi signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1954, and he went to the Taiyo Whales in 1955. He had a 5.54 ERA in 6 appearances in '55 season, and his ERA was 5.14 in 5 games in 1956. Sekiguchi only pitched one inning in 1957, and he returned to the Giants. However, he failed to made it to the top team in 1958, and he announced his retirement.
