Biographical Information

Masahito Kai was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 4th round of the 2004 NPB draft, and he mainly stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first 5 seasons; he only got 10 at-bats combined for the big club. Kai was 1-for-16 in 2006, and he didn't reach the top team again before he announced his retirement in 2008.
