Biographical Information

Masahiro Nagata was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 4th round of the 2002 NPB draft, and he only got 13 at-bats before the Giants traded him with Takashi Kamoshida to the Orix Buffaloes in exchange for Yoshitomo Tani. He was 0-for-5 in 2007 for the big club, and he hit .272/.370/.348 in 31 games for the North Shore Honu in the winter. However, Nagata failed to return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 2010.
