Biographical Information

Masahiko Hosoda signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1965, and he pitched 6 games with a 1.00 ERA in his first season. He allowed 3 runs in 6 1/3 innings in 1966, and he had a 2.25 ERA in 5 games in 1967. However, Hosoda fractured his right foot in 1968, and he announced his retirement.
