Biographical Information

Masafumi Togano was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 3rd round of the 2005 NPB draft, and he had a 8.22 ERA in 7 games in 2006. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2007, and his ERA was 4.64 in 13 appearances in 2008. Togano pitched 5 games with a 4.05 ERA in 2009, and the Giants traded him to the Rakuten Golden Eagles for Hideki Asai. However, he only got 2 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 2011.
