Biographical Information

Martynas Sadzevičius has been a member of the Lithuanian national team.

He was 3 for 15 with a walk and a run in the 2018 European Junior Championship, allowing 9 runs in 3 1/3 IP. He was with the senior team by the 2021 European Championship Qualifier, going 1 for 3 with a run and a RBI. His hit came off Daniel Gosselin. During the 2022 European Championship Qualifier, he was 2 for 5 with a run. By the 2024 European Championship Qualifier, he was their main left fielder. He was 2 for 12 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, four runs and five RBI as both of his hits were dingers; he tied for 5th in home runs. Lithuania won a spot in the 2025 European Championship, their first European Championship.

In the 2025 Euros, he was the first right fielder for Lithuania in a European Championship, batting 7th in their opener against Greece. He struck out against veteran minor leaguer Noah Zavolas, an American ringer, his first time up. He finished the Euros 0-for-8 and had five putouts error-free.
