Martin Luzar
Martin Luzar was on the Slovenian national team in the 1995 European Championship, their first European Championship. In their opener against Italy, he replaced Rok Lesjak at 1B late in the game. His first at-bat, he was retired by Sweden's Magnus Höglund during a no-hitter. He finished the event 0-for-7 with two walks and a run; he fielded .969, 4th-best among the ten qualifying first basemen in the tourney, between Antonio Salazar and Sven Hendrickx.
