Biographical Information[edit]
Marlon Vega has pitched in the Cuban Serie Nacional.
Vega was 9-2 with three saves and a 4.36 ERA for Mayabeque in 2020-2021, fanning 75 in 84 2/3 IP (though he walked 60). He tied for 7th in the league in wins (with Carlos Juan Viera, Vladimir Baños and Joel Mojena), 5th in K (between Pavel Hernández and Yadián Martínez) but first in walks (four more than Franklin Quintana). He won Serie Nacional Rookie of the Year, the first Mayabeque player to win.
