Biographical Information

Manato Tanai has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Tanai was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 5th round of the 2024 NPB draft; the scout was Kazuo Fujita. He hit .253/.292/.346 in 80 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2025, and he was 1-for-2 with the big club. He was then sent to the Mid East Falcons in Baseball United.
