Biographical Information

Manabu Tanaka was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 2nd round of the 1983 NPB draft, and he had a 5.40 ERA in 6 appearances in 1984. He only pitched 3 more games for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 1988.
