Biographical Information

Mamoru Sugiura was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 6th round of the 1985 NPB draft, and the outfielder hit .200/.250/.300 in 66 games for the Miami Marlins in 1987. He never reached the big club, and he announced his retirement in 1991.
