Biographical Information

Mamoru Hirono signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1960, and he hit .242/.282/.327 in 69 games in 1961. He slumped to .136/.203/.186 in 1962, and he didn't reach the big club again before he announced his retirement in 1964. His brother Isao Hirono also played in NPB.
