Luis Sanjur

SS/3B Luis Sanjur starred for the Panamanian national team that won Bronze in the 1959 Central American and Caribbean Games, outplaying future major leaguer teammates Ossie Chavarría and Chico Salmón. He hit .500 and slugged .667; he led the Games in average (.048 ahead of #2 Mario Mendible) and was second in slugging (.010 behind Mendible); his 8 RBI tied for 4th.
