Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals, he split the summer between the FCL Cardinals (1-2, Sv, 5.19 in 11 G) and Palm Beach Cardinals (0-1, 4.00 in 7 G); he walked only 4 in 26 1/3 innings. That winter, he was 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA for Los Mochis.

He tied Nolan Santos and Zack Showalter for 4th in the Florida State League in saves and tied for 4th in the Cards chain. For the Cañeros, he had a save and a 1.82 ERA in 24 games, whiffing 37 in 24 2/3 IP. With the '25 Springfield Cardinals, he struck out 92 in 62 2/3 innings and was 3-5 with 10 saves and a 4.02 ERA. The Sinaloa native then made the Mexican national team roster for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. He did not give up a run in two relief appearances. He then started the 2026 season pitching in AAA for the first time, with the Memphis Redbirds of the International League.
