Lionel Frers was on the Montpellier Barracudas in the 1995 European Cup. [1] He was 1 for 4 with a run in the round-robin portion of the 1999 European Championship, backing up Arnaud Fau in LF and Sylvain Hervieux in center; France won the Bronze, their first medal ever in a European Championship. [2] There are limited stats available for his Division Elite career; he hit .323/.428/.489 with 47 runs in 32 games for the 1999 Barracudas (one run behind team leader Lahcène Benhamida) and .222/.422/.356 in 2000.
