Biographical Information[edit]
Leo Gokey was a minor league pitcher who played for the Brantford Red Sox of the Class-B Michigan-Ontario League in 1919. He appeared in 16 games and won 8 and lost 6, pitched 104 innings, struck out 54 batters, and also walked 50. His earned run average is unknown. At the beginning of 1919 Gokey was on the reserve list of the Reading Coal Barons, having belonged to the 1918 Syracuse Stars, but had not yet returned from France, as of May 19th [1]
