Lefty Ebnet was a cousin of Skeeter Ebnet and pitched four years, all in the Northern League. He debuted with the 1933 Winnipeg Maroons and went 10-10 with a 6.56 RA. In '34, Lefty was 11-8 with Winnipeg and he followed with a 19-10 campaign, third in the Northern League in wins. He wrapped up his career with a 17-12, 3.87 season in 1936, tying six other hurlers for second place in victories. The Winnipeg southpaw was 57-40 in his minor league career.
