Biographical Information

Kunimitsu Sato signed with the Nishitetsu Lions in 1969, and he allowed 4 runs in 2 innings in 1970. He went 0-3 with a 3.10 ERA in 25 appearances in 1971, and his ERA was 7.88 in 11 relief outings in 1972. Sato didn't reach the top team in 1973, and he was released. The Hiroshima Carp signed him, but he had a 6.75 ERA in 8 games then he announced his retirement.
