Biographical Information

Koya Mizuno was 5-0 with a 0.21 ERA in the 2016 spring season to win the MVP of the Sapporo Gakusei League, and he got another MVP with a 5-0 record and a 1.21 ERA in the fall season. He was drafted by the Yokohama BayStars in the 2nd round of the 2016 NPB draft, and he allowed 3 runs in 4 2/3 innings on May 3 against the Yomiuri Giants. However, Mizuno suffered from a right shoulder injury, and he didn't return to the big club before announced his retirement in 2019.
