Biographical Information

Koki Sugiyama was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 3rd round of the 2019 NPB draft; the scout was Tetsuya Yamamoto. He pitched 4 games with a 9.95 ERA in 2021, and he only got one more appearance announced his retirement in 2023. He had gone 6-7 with 7 saves and a 4.63 ERA in 90 games in the Japanese minors over his career.
