Biographical Information

Koki Matsuoka has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Matsuoka pitched for the Saitama Musashi Heat Bears of the Baseball Challenge League in 2019, and he was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 3rd round of the 2019 NPB draft; the scout was Takahiro Suzuki. He allowed 3 runs in 2 innings in 2020, then he had a 11.25 ERA in 5 appearances in 2021. Matsuoka had a 5.95 ERA in 31 appearances in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2022, and he didn't reach the big club that season. The Nippon Ham Fighters then selected him in the 2022 NPB Active draft, but he then spent his next two seasons in the minors.
