Biographical Information[edit]
Koji Wakisaka signed with the Daiei Hawks in 1989, and he hit .211/.266/.211 in 40 games in his first season. He went 10-for-44 in 1991, but he only got 32 at-bats combined in the next two seasons. Wakisaka played 55 games with a .188/.235/.313 batting line in 1996, but he only played 6 more games for the top team before he announced his retirement in 2000. His father Takashi Wakisaka also played in NPB.
Overall, Wakisaka hit .191/.244/.236 with 42 hits in 6 seasons in NPB.
