Biographical Information

Kiyoshi Goto was drafted by the Nishitetsu Lions in the 4th round of the 1967 NPB draft, and he had a 6.12 ERA in 14 games in his first season. He was 1-2 with a 3.46 ERA in 1969, and he had a 1-5 record with a 3.60 ERA in 38 relief outings in 1970. Goto pitched 30 games with a 0-4 record and a 4.97 ERA in 1971, but he didn't reach the big club in 1972 and he announced his retirement.
