Biographical Information

Kikuo Sugimoto signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1961, and he only pitched 2 games for the big club in his first season. He had a 3.60 ERA in 7 appearances in 1962, and he announced his retirement. His brother Ikuo Sugimoto also played in NPB.
