Biographical Information[edit]
Kiichiro Miyazawa pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball for 5 years.
Miyazawa signed with the Taiyo Robins in 1949, and he went 9-12 with a 3.58 ERA in his first season. He had a 4.09 ERA in 19 relief outings in 1950, and he jumped to the Hankyu Braves, Miyazawa's ERA was 4.15 in 3 games in 1951, and he went 1-1 with a 5.28 ERA in 1952. He only pitched 5 games with a 1.52 ERA in 1953, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Miyazawa was 13-17 with a 3.91 ERA, struck out 131 and pitched 334 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
