Biographical Information[edit]

Kevin Tatar was a Division III American Baseball Coaches Association All-American when he had a 11-0, 1.17 record. Overall, he had gone 29-5 with a 2.30 ERA for his collegiate career. He pitched in the Cincinnati Reds system from 1990 to 1993. He was an undrafted free agent. In his first campaign, he was 3-3 with a 4.64 ERA in 13 starts for the Billings Mustangs. In 1991, he was 9-11 with a 3.35 ERA in 23 starts between the Charleston Wheelers and Chattanooga Lookouts. Back with Chattanooga in 1992, he was 5-4 with a 3.13 ERA in 9 starts and in 1993, also with the Lookouts, he went 0-1 with a 1.93 mark in 4 starts. Overall, he was 17-19 with a 3.57 ERA in 49 starts. In 282 innings, he allowed 260 hits and 93 walks (1.252 WHIP), while striking out 215 batters.

After baseball, he was a retirement consultant.
