Biographical Information

Kenji Otake was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 4th round of the 1969 NPB draft, and he only got 12 at-bats combined for the big club in his first five seasons. He led the Eastern League in RBI in 1972. Otake went 6-for-23 in 24 games in 1975, and he announced his retirement in 1976.
