Biographical Information

Kenji Nagami was drafted by the Seibu Lions as a pitcher, but he didn't reach the big club until the Lions traded him to the Yokohama BayStars for Yui Tomori before the 1997 season. He was turned into an outfielder, and he went 2-for-11 that season. Nagami then spent his next three seasons in the minors, and he announced his retirement in 2000.
