Biographical Information

Outfielder Kenji Hanabusa signed with the Toei Flyers in 1954, and he was 8-for-25 in his first season. He hit .208/.276/.245 in 78 games in 1955, and he played 57 games with a .167/.318/.167 batting line in 1956 then he announced his retirement. Used often as a pinch-runner, he had 109 plate appearances in his 174 games.
