Biographical Information[edit]

Kenji Fujimoto was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 6th round of the 1984 NPB draft, and he spent his first two seasons in the minors. He was 0-for-11 in 1987, and he went 3-for-16 in 1988. Fujimoto recorded a .209/.289/.291 batting line in 60 games for the Visalia Oaks in 1989, but he only played 2 more games before he announced his retirement in 1993. His father Kensaku Fujimoto also played in NPB.
