Biographical Information

Keisuke Izumi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Izumi was 18-5 with a 1.78 in his college career, and he was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 6th round of the 2018 NPB draft. He was 2-0 with a 1.96 ERA in 14 games in 2019, and he notched 8 holds with a 2.08 ERA in 40 appearances in 2020. Izumi recorded a 2.73 ERA with 6 holds in 31 games in 2021, and he had a 3.72 ERA in 30 games in 2022. However, he allowed 5 runs in 2 2/3 innings in 2023, and the Hawks traded him with Rei Takahashi to the Yomiuri Giants for Adam Walker. Izumi notched 5 holds with a 1.93 ERA in 35 relief outings in 2024.
