Biographical Information[edit]
Keiichiro Suzuki played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 11 years.
Suzuki signed with the Tokyu Flyers in 1946, and he went 1-for-13 in his first season. He hit .175/.259/.253 in 78 games 1947, and he had a 3-for-24 record in 1948. Suzuki then played 87 games with a .195/.257/.259 batting line in 1949, and he had a .207/.267/.306 batting line in 1950. He crushed 4 homers with a 244/.283/.338 batting line in 1951, and he appeared in all 108 games with a .250/.308/.339 batting line in 1952. Suzuki played all 120 games with a .194/.259/.244 batting line in 1953, but he was 9-for-50 in 1954 after Takeshi Doigaki took his starting spot at catcher. He hit .216/.269/.269 in 89 games in 1955, and he announced his retirement after he went 3-for-44 in 1956..
Overall, Suzuki hit .207/.269/.279 with 408 hits and 18 homers in 11 seasons in NPB.
