Biographical Information

Kazuyoshi Miyamoto signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1958, and he had a 2.14 ERA in 26 appearances in his first season. He went 6-9 with a 3.44 ERA in 1959, and he was 0-4 with a 3.88 ERA in 1960. Miyamoto only pitched 2 games in 1961, and he announced his retirement 1962.

Overall, Miyamoto was 7-13 with a 3.38 ERA, struck out 136 and pitched 293 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
